This eight-week course introduces actors to the Alexander Technique as a practical toolkit.
Service Description
Each session builds body awareness, ease, and responsiveness so you can access your full instrument in auditions, rehearsal, and performance. This course includes: -Foundations of AT — mechanical principles, coordinated movement, and how to apply them directly to performance -Audition Day — bring your own material or we'll provide it and learn to integrate AT into auditions -Relational & Partner Work — “Lane Work” that deepens presence, listening, and full-body responsiveness -Vocal Production — freeing the voice through alignment and breath -Movement Technique — developing efficient, expressive physicality -Meisner Integration — Apply AT to repetition
